Material Program Manager
 Program Management :
 Serves as single point of contact with regard to any material issue on a program, for the
customers both internal and external.
 Ensure material readiness for factory/s (internal & outsource) build by working on
procurement activities with Buyer team/Materials Analyst and work with BU on high risk
and BU supplied items.
 Works with BU/customer to determine material requirements.
 Sources suppliers and helps to identify alternate parts if required by working with Design
Engineer (DE) in PDT.
 Act as escalation path for buyer team/materials analyst on critical materials. Source for
disti stock with buyer where needed.
 Works with BOM coordinator/ESO to set up SPEED BOM (if BU requires this service).
 Works with Customers, BOMcoordinator and ME to get SPEED BOM loaded into SAP.
 Works with Planner to get the correct product code (could be PC/TA/AA/PBA) loaded
into SAP in order to drive capacity and raw components.
 Responsible for Component WOC generation and release.
 Provides costed BOM and Material Plan for builds to stakeholders.
Inventory Management :
 Report out inventory status to BU on monthly basis, ie: excess materials, obsolete and
disposition status.
 Works with buyer team on excess/obsolete materials in inventory mgmt forum (ICP).
 Works with BU to obtain disposition on obsolete materials.
 Manage MPM alternate stock location through POU and works on disposition on timely
manner.
Achievements:
 Lead to identify single source EOL(End of Life) parts and collaborated with Silicon
Expert disti management to update the part status and also to get replacement part on
time from supplier.
 Successfully lead cost saving project by quarterly through work with buyer team and
planning with cost saving more than USD100K.
 Received Divisional award for BSP Lean Detailed Production Schedule Automation
Possibility thinking, and discipline from cross functional and cross Geo team delivered
Detailed Production Schedule Solver Solution. The implementation of DPS Solver tool
level up Boards & Systems Planners in supply chain excellence with fast workload
rescheduling, prediction of future bottlenecks and job completion times, and efficient
