Public speaking is speech making before a large body of audience
in a formal situation where in you, the speaker, display your talents
For eloquence and oratory.
Public speaking is communication of ideas using words and actions
to let others known what is happening in your head.
Public speaking is an art of facing a group of people and
communicating to them your thoughts and feelings by means of
effective speech.

conveying ideas, of sharing opinions
and information.

5. Importance of your Personality
It is important that you consider how you want your
audience to perceive you.
You can develop yourself accordingly.
Remember a confident you can be projected even
though you may not feel it.

meditation, diet.

•The place of delivery of your speech is important.
•If you are familiar with the surroundings as well as
the atmosphere.

acquaint yourself.

for quality and result oriented speaking.
8. Aids to speech Delivery
Check onstage microphones.
Batteries of laptops and presentation aids.
Check with organizers for back ups incase of
black outs.
Keep extra batteries changed to replace failed
ones.
Generators incase electric failure.
Keep flyers and handouts to handle such
exigencies.
9. Purpose of Delivery
•The feedback from the listeners is important.
•Communication is a two way process the speaker and listener.
•Well stated with full focus and emphasis on your message,
makes any message delivery purpose achieved.
•Sales achieved, inspired listeners and finally result oriented
delivery of the speech.
•Analyse what your speech or talk needs to accomplish.
•The plan it that way and achieve your objective with aplomb.
