20. This building required the use of metal lath on the exterior due to the wood framing not being encased in Hemcrete. The interior walls did not require metal lath as the Hemcrete material covers the wood framing by four full inches.

36. Remove the shuttering forms as soon as possible to allow the Hemcrete material to draw in the CO2 from the atmosphere which starts the carbonation process
37. INTERIOR: A two coat lime plaster will be applied directly to this rough surface texture of the Hemcrete after about one week
38. EXTERIOR: The exterior Hemcrete walls will receive a two coat hydraulic lime (½”) render after one week drying time. The new lime render will be finished with a beautiful natural earth limewash
