u Gather names of any children who made professions of faith during VBS.
u Schedule a time to use I’m a Christian Now! as the follow-up action for children who made
professions of faith.
u Enlist teachers to conduct I’m a Christian Now! class.
u Select the time for the class to meet. Four consecutive Sundays during your church’s Sunday
School hour may be the most efficient time.
u Purchase the I’m a Christian Now! Leader Pack and activity guides for younger and older kids.
If possible, schedule a class for younger children and one for older children.
u Enlist a VBS director or teacher to make a home visit with each child within the first seven days
after VBS.

u Plan to take each child a VBS 2010 New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs, HCSB
(005187691)or a VBS 2010 New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs, KJV (005187692).
u Show the child the devotions in the New Testament and suggest that he use them for the next
30 days.
u Invite the child to attend the I’m a Christian Now! class and give his parents details about when
and where the class will meet. If necessary, offer to pick up the child and bring him to the class.

u Encourage the children to use their activity books to begin having their own quiet time at home.
u Consider giving each child a Bible signed by your pastor or his VBS teacher at the close of the
