- HACCP was Developed by Pillsbury for NASA to provide food safety for the astronauts Science based prevention reduces need for exhaustive finished product sampling and testing HACCP adds value to food and pharma by ensuring consumers a consistently safe product
- Medicine can use the 12 step HACCP methodology to effectively deliver an integrated service Here I am with my partner Silas Kanning and Medical Director Terry Grossman who is a practitioner of leading edge integrated medicine
- HACCP is not a quality or efficiency system but fully integrates with the Define/Measure/Analyze/Improve/Control cycles Open source access to knowledge Facilitates QA/QC and Lean

- The patient-driven Health Care Model Melanie Swan describes is the “Carrot” The issue here is the willingness of consumers to accept that intrusive and pervasive monitoring will not give law enforcement draconian powers to enforce for social crimes like recreational drug use.
- How much can you control given the technology and resources you personally have or are allowed to work with? When I graduated from my HACCP Diploma course I told my instructors Chris Smith and Kelly Bettschen that I would apply the system to human health some day…well that day is today.
- The issue here is the willingness of the FDA and similar top of the food chain regulators to transform themselves to a servant of citizens and a partner to emerging AGI’s Citizen-Scientists managing their own healthspan/lifespan plans must be treated like accredited or sophisticated investors by regulators and must have the final say Your body is the most valuable piece of property you will ever own so you must be allowed to manage it accordingly

And of course the biology of “mind over matter”. For us boomers it is not so much science as moral hazard that may be the ultimate delineator between demise and superlongevity.
- I assert that in today’s economy you are all worth more to society dead at 3 score and ten than alive for an indeterminate period of time. Realigning the global investment strategy to finance the third bridge superlongevity paradigm shift will take 20 years for ramp up to mass commercialization of universally accessible individualized steady state self-directed evolution. James Hughes uses the term “longevity dividend”. QALY and actuary valuations will drive the big money tomake the longevity dividend more valuable than the death benefit. Like it or not this plan must be bankable.
- HACCP methodology has evolved over 30 years. I have taken it one step further to use it to enable citizen-scientists to collaborate on a global scale and make full use of information technologies to give life a new measure of quality and richness It is a wondrous time to be alive. It will even more wondrous to stay alive for a length of time entirely of our own choosing.
