Advanced Search Screen: there are more fields than the Basic search screen. You can limit or specify your search by choosing Boolean operators, or by choosing different options in the Select a Field drop-down menu
Search Options and Modes: Choose Search Modes to get to these options. You will see options to limit or specify your search by: Full Text or Scholarly Publication, by Publication Title, and by Date or date range.

There are search limiters for each database within Ebsco. Academic Search Premier is the general academic research database within Ebsco. Limiters for ASP include: Publication type (Periodical, newspaper, book, primary source document, educational report)Document Type (includes Abstract, Bibliography, Book Review, Poetry Review, Case Study)Language, and PDF Full Text.
