Abdur Rouf B works as a library assistant at Chozha Central Library, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur. Before joining CUTN, he had over 7 years of experience working in academic libraries—IIT Madras, Chennai and Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Thandalam. He is pursuing Ph.D (LIS) at Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. He is the holder of a B.A. (Political Science), M.Lib.I.Sc. from Annamalai University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) from Annamalai University. Currently, he is a member of the Madras Library Association. His areas of research interests are artificial intelligence, digital libraries, library automation and networking and ICT.
