 Definition of Chocolate from Wikipedia is a raw or processed
food produced from the seed of cacao ( Theobroma cacao)
 From oxford dictionary, chocolate is a food in the form of a
paste or solid block made from roasted and ground cacao
seeds, typically sweetened and eaten as confectionery
 According to Medical Dictionary, chocolate is fermented,
roasted, shelled, and ground cacao seeds, often combined
with a sweetener or flavoring agent
 In my opinion, chocolate is processed food from cacao seeds
with a sweet taste and variety of shapes

3. History of Chocolate
 The tasty secret of the cacao was discovered 2,000 years ago
in the tropical rain forests of the Americas
 First found in Mayan and Aztec Civilizations
• Mayans used cacao beans to create a cold, unsweetened, spicy
chocolate beverage. This was the first form of chocolate.
• Aztecs came across cacao beans through trade. They named the spicy
drink xocolatl (bitter water).
• Cacao beans played important roles in both Mayan and Aztec
Civilizations.

4. History of Chocolate
• In 1528, Spanish conquistador, Hernan Cortes returned to
Spain with chocolate still consumed as a beverage.
• In 1847, Fry & Sons in England introduced the first "eating
chocolate," but did not attract much attention due to its
bitter taste.
• In 1874, Daniel Peter, a famed Swiss chocolateer,
experimented with various mixtures in an effort to balance
chocolates rough flavor, and eventually stumbled upon that
abundant product milk.
• This changed everything and chocolate's acceptance after
that was quick and enthusiastic.
