3. ABOUT US TwoPianist Records, the brainchild of acclaimed pianists and piano duo Nina Schumann and Luis Magalhaes, opened its doors in 2008. Originally intended to be a label for the piano duo's output, it rapidly expanded to include top international musicians such as Daniel Rowland (leader of the Brodsky Quartet in the UK) and Frank Stadler (leader of the Mozarteum Orchestra). All the artists signed are young, dynamic and thoroughly engaging, whether on stage or on record. Their shared passion for music has brought to light the recordings of repertoire with longevity. TwoPianists are also committed to recording the top South African artists and ensuring international recognition that is long overdue.
