1. Christmas in San Cataldo
The Christmas holiday period has always led a
happy atmosphere in San Cataldo.

2. It is a tradition to prepare the Christmas
tree and the crib.

3. At Christmas the family gets together for a big
dinner, and eat the “Panettone”, a typical
dessert, and exchange gifts.

4. At home, after the recitation of the Rosary
people gather to sing the Christmas “Novene”.

5. On the 24th December, the last
evening of the Novena many
families prepare the "cavatuna"

6. The “Figuredde” are the pictures of the saints.
The origin of "figuredde" it’s very old.
