No, they're just superstitious.
4. So what is a superstitious person?
Basically a superstitious person is
someone who truly believes that
they can control their destiny and
lives by performing little tricks and
magic.
They'll do all sorts of strange things to
protect themselves from evil spirits.
5. However, the truth is, many
superstitions are based on common
sense,
if you walk under a ladder, you may
well have bad luck — especially if
something falls on your head.
6. Use the same pencil to take a test that
you used for studying for the test.
Apparently, the pencil will remember
the answers.
7. If you dream of fish, someone you know is
pregnant. Also, it's bad luck to say the word "pig"
while fishing at sea.
Apparently, fish are frightened of pigs.
8. Shoes on the table will bring you
lots of bad luck.
It will also irritate other
members of your household.
9. A horseshoe above the
doorway will bring
good luck to a home. Place it
facing upwards like a "U« or the
luck will fall out of the shoe.
Horseshoe-shaped
accessories won't bring you
good luck, although they do
make lovely. earrings
10. If you see an ambulance, pinch your
nose and hold your breath until you
see a brown dog or you wiII have bad
luck.
Don't hold your breath too long or the
ambulance will be coming back
for you!
