4. GO FIGHT WIN! FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL! The BUFFALOES face the Hays Rebels at home Friday night for Homecoming! Kick off is at 7:30 p.m. Adult : $6 Student: $3 All tickets are $7 at the gate. Tickets can be purchased at the Athletic Office Tuesday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. GO BUFFS!

5. A 2011 Yale Information Session will be held at 7:00 p.m. October 6th at Luther Burbank High School 1002 Edwards Street San Antonio, TX 78204. This session will be held in the auditorium. Bianca Rolon, Assistant Director of Admissions, will discuss academic programs, residential college, and campus life, admissions, and financial aid. Please bring your family and friends. 9. Samuel Clemens Homecoming Dance Please come to main office to pick up a Guest permission form. Guidelines: A current Samuel Clemens High School student may be permitted to bring 1 guest. The appropriate boxes below must be completed and this form must be returned when purchasing a dance ticket. All guests must present an ID at the door. – No Exceptions No middle school students will be permitted to attend. All guests may not be older than 19 years of age. Dress code will be enforced – No Exceptions

22. 15th Annual High School Leadership Conference at Texas A & M University This conference is open to any high school student. It is a great opportunity for young leaders to engage in leadership workshops, network with Texas A & M students, and learn from the personal experience of the leaders around Texas A & M University. Service Academy Deadlines SENIORS— Congressman Lamar Smith has a deadline of October 22, 2011 for students who wish to compete for a nomination to one of the four United States Service Academies (WestPoint, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Merchant Marine Academy).
