TEDtoChina Salon is a quarterly event that brings together people from different fields like art, design, business, education, and technology to stimulate dialogue around ideas from TED talks. The salons are always oversubscribed with thousands on the mailing list and over 50,000 social media followers. The upcoming salon will focus on human-computer interaction and feature a keynote from Pranav Mistry, the inventor of SixthSense, along with 2-3 local speakers. The event will include speeches, product demonstrations, and networking to bring global innovators together with local creators.
