1. Lauren’s Performance Shoot
Yesterday (15/10/13) we did the shoot for the miming part of the
song. Overall, we think it went well as we managed to get a
variety of shots and angles including extreme close-up, midshot, side angle, long shot, and low angle.
We filmed in the hall as we wanted it to be a stage performance.
For this, we had the red curtains closed as I was wearing a black
dress so I stood out. To make the setting look more realistic, we
had a microphone and speakers so it looks like a live
performance.
For the lighting, we used a range of different coloured spotlights
coming from each end of the stage. We had difficulty at first as
the red spotlight made me blend in with the curtain, however we
managed to turn this off and the lighting was good. We feel that
the quality of the videos is good as the lighting was just right.

• We did a long shot because it shows the setting and
costume giving the audience a full view of what the
video is like.
