The document describes the process of creating a contents page for a magazine using Photoshop. Screenshots were taken and placed on an A4 page along with headers in larger font sizes, page numbers, and images without editing. Text boxes were added below images with website information. The background color was changed to match the magazine's color scheme.
2. I started off with an A4 sheet and placed the copy onto the page. The
masthead and ‘contents’ were both created on PhotoShop.
3. I then placed an image of the front cover at the top of the page and added a
text box next to it. I then changed font sizes and the layout of the text so that
it would grab the audiences attention.
4. I then added text boxes. Each of the headers were written in a larger font. I
added the lines using the line tool and I then thickened them so that they
would stand out more. The page numbers were inserted at the beginning of
each description.
5. Next, I placed all the images I had taken onto the page. I also inserted small
text boxes with page numbers on. I did not edit any of my images.
I also inserted a text box under the image and placed ‘www.record.co.uk’ in
which was created on PhotoShop.
6. I then inserted the last text box which included some information about the
website. I changed the colour of the background so that it would match with
the colour scheme of the magazine.
