Como is a tangible device used in schools to teach children aged 6-10 to recognize healthy and unhealthy foods. It works by physically transforming when it scans different foods, exaggerating the effects of nutrition intake by changing its shape to appear thin, ill, or gaining weight. The goal is for children to learn about selecting healthy foods while also monitoring the class's average nutrient intake, as they take turns bringing Como home each week to identify foods on their own.

Como is a project that takes place in schools along a terms with
children aging between 6-10.

Teachers present the project to children as an exercise, explaining the
goal of it: learning to select healthy and unhealthy food while monitoring the
average index of nutrients intake of the class. Every week a children is encharged of Como.

(with help of Como) to identify food according to its nutritional qualities.

deforms its body informed by the nutritional intake of food exagerating the
e ects by either staying “thin”, becoming ill, or gaining weight.
