This document discusses comparative adjectives which are used to compare two people, ideas or things. It provides 5 rules for forming comparative adjectives from regular adjectives: 1) add -er for one syllable adjectives, 2) remove final y and add -ier for one/two syllable adjectives ending in y, 3) double the final consonant and add -er for adjectives ending in a single vowel+consonant, 4) add "most" before adjectives with two or more syllables, 5) some adjectives like good and bad are irregular and must be memorized. Examples are given to illustrate each rule.
