What every teacher should know about classroom management

  • 2.  Before class begins  Before class closes  While being interrupted  Tempo of teaching  Set the ground fair rule for grade
  • 3.  How do you begin the class? What would you say when standing in front of the class?  How do you draw students’ attention for class?  What ways can you make your students be on time?
  • 4.  How do you let your students know the class is going to be wrapped up?  Would you carry any activities to let your students know the class is coming to close?
  • 5.  Students come in late, how would you handle it? Would you say anything to them, why or why not?  Being interrupted while teaching, how would you react?
  • 6.  What are the most challenging things in this area?  Do you have tendency teach/talk too fast or too slow? How are you going to manage that?
  • 7.  What would you do to make your students know your expectation?  How would you handle it when students complain or challenge the fairness of grading?
  • 8.  Your 3 ways to make students feel connected to you and to the class:  Make your classroom surrounding comfortable  Make sure your classroom is in order  Help students to learn the meaning of learning  Help students to set up the goal for themselves
