How and why to use a thesaurus when writing copy to make copy convert more!

1. A Thesaurus Makes Web Copy
Electrifying!
Everytime I’m writing a headline I have this website open: http://thesaurus.com
Also while I’m writing any sort of copy, small ads, emails, salesletters either while I’m
writing or when I finish writing I make use of a Thesaurus!
Why?
Suppose a headline for a salesletter:
Example #1:
“Who Else Wants To Clean Acne With Products You Already Have At Home!”
That is already good, but we can use thesaurus to change the common words with
something more interesting, the common words being:
Clean – remove, eliminate or banish
Have – Own
“Who Else Wants To Remove Acne With Products You Already Own At Home!”
Example #2:
Do you want to learn to cook 6 dishes like these for your whole family?
transformed into…
Do you want to discover how to cook 6 dishes like these for your whole family?
Or if you want to take it a step further…
Do you want to discover the secrets to cook month-watering dishes like these?
Try to eliminate useless words that don’t have particular interest!
Example #3:
Are You Just a Click Away from Teen Motivation that Transforms Your Teenager Into A Very
Good Student?
transformed into…
Are You Just a Click Away from Teen Motivation that Transforms Your Teenager Into An
Outstanding Student?
Or if you want to take it a step further…
How To Transform Your Teenager Into An Outstanding Student With Our Proprietary
System!
