Pine Biotech held a workshop and discussion of the approaches that are being developed for the T-BioInfo platform. The approaches were presented by Julia Panov, a Ph.D. student from Haifa University and data scientist working at Pine Biotech. Her presentation covered some of the projects with preliminary results showing a promising method of integrating various omics data types and applying them to noisy datasets signal processing for target discovery and biomarkers. The workshop was held at the Flower Hall at Tulane University. This was the first presentation to over 40 people that gathered to discuss interesting applications of biomedical data analysis to healthcare and pharma. Dr. Yu-Ping Wang and Dr. Lars Gilbertson from the department of Biomedical Engineering also shared their perspective on this important topic. http://pine-biotech.com/workshop-roundtable-discussion-tulane-pine-biotech/

Professor Damon Ridley was our special guest speaker for this webinar. Damon was Professor of Chemistry at the University of Sydney until 2002 when he left to become Head of the Chemistry Department at Silverbrook Research – which then was Australia’s largest privately owned research organization. He has published over 150 scientific papers and is an inventor named in over 50 patents granted by the US Patent Office. However, he also is very well known internationally for his work and publications in scientific information retrieval. In this webinar Damon shared his years of experience with us and focused in particular on searching for substances in Reaxys.

I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.

Ever caught yourself nodding along when someone mentions "delivering value" in Agile, but secretly wondering what the heck they actually mean? You're not alone! Join us for an eye-opening session where we'll strip away the buzzwords and dive into the heart of Agile—value delivery. But what is "value"? Is it a mythical unicorn in the world of software development, or is there more to this overused term? This isn't going to be a sit-and-get lecture. We're talking about a face-to-face, interactive meetup where YOU play a crucial role. Come along to: Define It: What does "value" really mean? We’ll build a definition that’s not just words, but a compass for your Agile journey. Contextualise It: Discover what value means specifically to you, your team, your company, and your industry. Because one size does not fit all. Deliver It: Share strategies and gather new ones for uncovering and delivering true value—no more shooting in the dark!

Generative AI architecture, at its core, revolves around the concept of machines being able to generate content autonomously, mimicking human-like creativity and decision-making processes. Unlike traditional AI systems that rely on predefined rules and data inputs, generative AI leverages deep learning techniques to produce new, original outputs based on patterns and examples it has learned from vast datasets. This capability opens up a multitude of possibilities across various domains within an enterprise.
