14. Application Start Screen When the application is started this screen shows the current user name, function and all objects owned by the user. Dbl-clicking on an object allows users to view, edit or workflow objects.
20. Part Attributes Each manufacturing company is unique and has their own legacy systems. Each of these systems requires a set of attributes for each part. Business rules can be enforced and checks put in place for all your part types.
23. ECN Bill of Material Detail The BOM can be entered manually, extracted from your CAD system, or an earlier revision can be copied from your MRP system and used as a base for the new revision.
25. ECN BOM – Current Production Rev This screen shows the current revision level in your MRP system. If rev C is being released on this ECN, this screen shows rev B from your MRP system for reference only. In this example the MRP system is IFS.
26. ECN BOM Comparison This screen shows the delta between rev C and rev B currently in production. This is very beneficial for users to see exactly what changed on large BOMs. Return
28. Database Solutions - Help Desk Application Double clicking on a task in the main screen pops up the Edit Issue screen. The creator of this issue can edit any field. Any other user can add a comment which can optionally be e-mailed to the creator.
29. Database Solutions - Help Desk Application CAD administrators at different locations enter new issues into their local database. The database is replicated daily to update both sites. Users can query data based on key words, or other criteria. A very effective multi-site application. Return
30. Generate NC programs based on your companies part numbering system or product configuration codes. Flange details based on ANSI B16.5 standard. NC Machining Product Spec
31. Control all machining parameters based on a blank, forging, or casting size. NC Machining Parameters Sample of code generated for a Motch vertical turret lathe. Return
32. Integrate the data from multiple CAD systems and your engineering change system into a single interface. In this example a partial part number is entered to match all drawings in the series from 2 CAD systems and a drawing view system. PDM - CAD Access Tools
33. PDM - CAD Access Tools Right-click on a drawing and select from a menu to edit or view a drawing in various sessions.
34. See supersede (or “replaced by”) information from engineering change history. Double-click on the left bar to see engineering change information. See next slide. Create new replaced by entries. PDM – Part Supersede Info
35. PDM - Engineering Change View View critical information in the engineering change. Interface can be tailored to meet your specific application. Legacy change data can be batch loaded into a database or scanned and saved as a graphic file for reference.
36. View file details and revision levels of CAD drawings at multiple sites. Example of a “where-used” search by engineering change. PDM – Multi Site Integration Return
