ethnicities and ages, the Carib Culture Unity
Festival reaches this audience by celebrating
the appeal of multi-cultural music, dining and
arts. Onsite content includes concert-style
performances, dance troops, artists, vending,
culture, lavish colors and most importantly, unity
driven programming.

3. CARIB CULTURE THROUGH GENERATIONS
No other Caribbean event in Central Virginia provides partners and advertisers with
direct access to the adult, senior and youth demographic of so many communities.
Essential to the pre-paid, international money transfer, telephony, clothing, music, arts,
travel and seasonings industries, we work closely with our advertisers to develop
placement specifically for them.

4. Overview
CARIB CULTURE
Island Venture Restaurant & Lounge brings the first Carib Culture
Unity Festival, held at the Richmond Shockoe Bottom
Marketplace on Saturday August 7th, 2010. A rain or shine
carnival of cultural love, this festival will be a grass-roots community-
at-large celebration for all of Richmond and surrounding areas to
experience and appreciate the local beauties of the multi-ethnic and
American communities
With music filling the air, live entertainment, arts, crafts, dance,
foods and even specialty talents, the 2010 Carib Culture Unity
Festival begins a new dawn of love and unity to central Virginia.
Plan to experience a wonderful, gorgeous affair that signifies
everything great about the Caribbean, America, Latin and African. In
short, expect a day of many cultures together, encapsulating the
notion that we are all no different once you can look beyond skin
color.
The 2010 Carib Culture Unity Festival attendees can look forward
to strong musical performances from the Caribbean, complemented
by the sweetest of multi-cultural arts, dancing and ballet. It is our
vision to create a sense of what the Caribbean, American, Latin and
African cultures truly offer; vivid colors, unity and tranquility.
A portion of all 2010 Carib Culture Unity Festival beverage
proceeds will be donated to the VCU Massey Cancer Center.
