4. Description This project provides you with the exciting opportunity to build on your skills and experimental practices that you started to explore in level 1. The project emphasis is on developing ideas using digital media and digital production. You will need to write a learning agreement and identify a theme for your research and visual enquiry. Using this as a starting point you will be asked to explore a variety of digital processes that are appropriate to developing your ideas. These may include Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD embroidery, laser cutting and Digital weave and print. There will be workshops during the unit to further develop your knowledge and skills in these areas, and there will also be workshops in drawing, print and stitch. Material manipulation and transformation through the exploration of digital process will be central to the development of your ideas.
