2. AIM and TASKS OF NCE ATAMEKEN
National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan – set up in
October 2013
Aim
• Further development of entrepreneurship and strengthening business stands
in the dialogue with the Government and state bodies
Tasks
• Protection of the rights and the legitimate interests of entrepreneurs
• Participation in the process of legislation improvement affecting the interests
of entrepreneurs

NCE MEMBERSHIP
NCE members:
1) legal entities registered in Kazakhstan (including banks, national
companies and organizations affiliated with national holdings in
industrial, agricultural and financial sectors)
2) individual entrepreneurs
3) farming businesses
Membership is not extended to :
1) branch offices and representations of foreign companies
2) subjects of entrepreneurship in the field of audit
3) state enterprises
4) non-commercial legal entities

4. OVERVIEW OF NCE FUNCTIONS
• Protection of the rights and legitimate interests of entrepreneurs: vis-à-vis state
authorities and international organizations, arbitrage, legislation and others regulations’
expertise etc.
• Public monitoring: data analysis on the respect of the rights and the legitimate interests of
entrepreneurs with the participation of the civil society
• Non-financial measures of support: consultations in taxation, customs, marketing, IT and
public procurement issues, legal advices etc.
• Support of local industries and local content’s increase: commodity market analysis,
creation and maintenance of a data base for goods, works, services and suppliers etc.
• Development of professional education: monitoring of business entities’ needs in human
resources, development of employment assistance, independent qualification certification
etc.
• Development of foreign economic activity and investment attracting
