  1. kepribadian adalah adanya perbedaan karakteristik pada dalam diri manusia, perbedaan karakteristik tersebut menggambarkan ciri unik dari masing-masing individu. Kepribadian berkaitan dengan perilaku konsumen dalam memilih produk yang sesuai dengan kepribadiannya. Pemasar dapat membuat program yang sesuai dengan karakter konsumen dan program tersebut dianggap berhasil ketika konsumen bereaksi positif terhadap produk yang ditawarkan

Superego Superego adalah kecenderungan sifat manusia yang ingin berbuat baik sesuai dengan norma dan etika serta aturan-aturan yang ada di masyarakat. Misalnya, sejak kecil kita diajarkan sama orang tua kita jika ada orang yang menolong kita maka kita ucapkan terimakasih, proses tersebut akan kita lakukan secara berulang-ulang, sehingga secara spontan mengucapkan kata terimakasih akan menempel di dalam diri kita 3. Ego Ego berfungsi sebagai kesadaran individu. Ego berkerja sesuai prinsip realitas. Misalnyaa, dalam keadaan ujian kesulitan, id.nya adalah kepingin berbuat kecurangan. lalu egonya adalah kepingin menyontek, tetapi super egonya adalah dia tidak berani menyontek karena dia tahu menyontek itu tidak baik. 
  4. Teori freud dan pemasaran mengungkapkan bahwa dalam mengungkapkan produk harus bisa menarik perhatian konsumen melalui iklan (contoh menggunakan model atau artis cantik sebagai bintang iklan)
