2. As you are student you may have to attend seminars or you may
have to present your project reports to your fellow students and
faculty members.
You may work in a business organization , as a team leader you may
have to present before the corporate body, a product which your
institution , you may have to present the goals , activities and
achievements of your institution to an important visitor ; as project
manager you may have to present before a committee the result of
project recently undertaken by your company , and so on.

 Understand the purpose of your/their being there
 Learn about the local and time
 Decide the Technique for presentation
 Organise the Content and prepare an outline

 Place where you presenting
 It is Open field , large hole , room etc.
Know your audience
 What are their interests , likes and
dislikes ?
 Are they familiar with the topic ?
 Is their attitude hostile or friendly ?
 What is the size of group ?
 Are range ? Gender distribution ?

 Maintain eye-contact consistently and calmly
 Utilise the space available to you . Do not stand at a place.
 Use appropriate gestures
 Have your voice loud enough and speech slow enough with necessary pauses
 Involve audience by asking yes or no type question

7. Invite audience to ask Question
Appreciate the one who asked the question
Repeat the question by reframing it
Do not bluff , if you do not know the answer . Ask your audience that you will
get back to them with the related information
Ask them to send their queries through mail and do respond in time
