will move towards

Negative
molecules will
move towards the
anode

Molecules will also separate out by
size
Larger molecules will not go very far
Smaller molecules will travel a
greater distance
7. Step Five
The results can now be recorded by
taking a picture when the gel is
glowing under an ultraviolet light
