• Health in the Past: Infectious diseases were the most
significant health problems in the past. Many
bacterial and viral infections due to the lack of
antibiotics and vaccinations and death during birth
to mother and child.
• Health Today: Many health problems today are
caused in part by unhealthy lifestyles. Not enough
exercise and too much bad food causing diseases like
cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and poor self
esteem.
