This presentation goes through the African Scholarship Cohort which is a program with the Mbarara Institute of Technology and Business and the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. This program provides free open educational resources (OER) in the form of massive open online courses (MOOCs) to a cohort of students. This is the summary of that program with details on projects, student persistence, and common problems.
