Kong Chhuon has earned his PhD in Environmental Engineering from University of the Philippines-Diliman and Tokyo Institute of Technology-Japan under AUN/SEED-Net program supported by JICA in 2016. During PhD study, he did assessment on the carrying capacity of available water resources to meet the demands for people, agriculture, energy development and environmental protection within the watershed approach in Cambodia. He graduated Master’s degree in Environmental Geology from Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia. In addition, Dr. Kong got an engineering degree in water resources and rural infrastructures from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia. His fields of specialization are on enviro
