Commercial and Legal Contract Management & Coordination
The first two years of my employment with GEA, I performed as financial project controller,
hereto accountant and reporting tasks. I developed a VBA automated interactive financial
reporting simulation model in Excel, used end each month to import figures from ERP for
finalizing controls, adjustments and generating of various financial reports.
Up to 2004, all procedures of commercial contract and risk management had been placed
with the CEO. When he left company, I took charge and responsibility of the development of a
completely new commercial contract and risk management function, achieving:
− commercial strategy and teamwork to ensure consistency between technical, commercial
and legal aspects to generate best tangible results and opportunities,
− firm contractual procedures and terms, established commercial and legal clarity, secured
internal understanding of and concern for risk management,
− coordination between relevant responsible parties to ensure consensus, flexibility, adequate
basis for evaluation and timely decision-making,
− substantial improvement of company revenue and key figures.
The new CEO appreciated the structure and function I had developed and managed, fully in
line with his policies and principles, asking that I should continue as responsible, in close
cooperation and sparring with him. In 2009 the CEO was transferred to ME and a new CEO
was appointed from within organization, changing lead of management offset from sales to
accountant.
My position was continued onwards - managing and providing:
− quotation and contract review,
− day to day commercial, legal and contractual support to sales and project execution,
− development and application of risk mitigation strategies,
− proactively preventing claims and supporting on defending and pursuing claims,
− implementation of risk and limitation of authority procedures,
− controlling of risk management and compliance,

− management of letters of credit, financial arrangements or securities, export regulations,
− management reports, and more.

Installation of new computer systems as well as development and upgrading of existing
systems and platforms, combined with troubleshooting on the network of several thousand
users.
Consultant 1998 – 1999
Development and implementation of computer programs for new quality assurance
procedures by introduction of the multidisciplinary journal work principle, including general
interdisciplinary education into IT. Thereto assistance to the research section on databases.
The following year, the hospital was awarded the Aarhus County Quality Award.

Do it yourself rebuild and improvement of our old farm house; gardening; the kitchen; our
