Education

As a fully qualified British teacher I offer some 25 years of teaching experience gained in countries around Europe. My first taste of teaching was in Switzerland, where I spent several years at private and state schools. After gaining the Post-Graduate Certificate in Education, I took up a post in the British secondary school system, teaching German and French. Following this I worked for a number of years supporting the English department of an East German Grammar School and retraining History and Geography professors to teach English. Since then I have taken a diploma in Translating and Interpreting and worked for in-house language services of major companies in Germany.
