2. Select Search to
browse/search a
specific newspaper

3. You can search by
newspaper title or by place
of publication
If you want to find
information from a
particular Era, make those
selections first.

4. Select the State you’d like to search from the map, or use the checkboxes to select multiple
states.

5. Once you’ve selected your locations,
click on Newspaper Titles to get a list
of papers for those states.

6. You can narrow your search further
by selecting individual papers.
Then, enter your search terms and
hit Search.

7. You can also start by
browsing the full list of
newspapers available

8. You can sort results by date or
by best match
Once you have your search
results, click to see the full
article

9. The list of articles is still
available in the sidebar Click to see the article
in the context of the
full newspaper page
