1. ï¶Once you have logged into youâre My BGSU
account you simply click on the course that you
wish to submit your homework.
ï¶If you take more than one class at a time they will
all be listed in My Blackboard Courses.
2. Comparison
ï¶ This is what will be on the
left side of your screen
when you click on your
class in My Blackboard.
ï¶ As you can see, this is for
two different classes.
ï¶ Different professors
arrange the course shells
differently.
ï¶ These are both shown in
quick view, you have the
option to leave it in quick
view or click on the detail
view and have it that way.
3. ï¶This is an example of a class
shown in the detail view.
ï¶To get to the digital drop box
from here you need to click
on the Tools button.
4. Tools Page
ï¶ Your Tools page will look similar to
this, there could be more tools and
there could be less.
ï¶ To access the digital drop box you
will need to click on the Digital
Dropbox button here.
5. ï¶ To add your work
Name of file but not send it
Last name, First Name yet, click on Add
Submitted- day of week/month/ date/ year time File.
Any comments you wish to leave for the professor

ï¶ To turn your work
in click on the
Send File button.
ï¶ Once the instructor has received your work there will be a button
on the right side of the screen that says âRemoveâ. When this
button is showing it is safe to remove your work from the digital
drop box.
6. ï¶ When you get to this point you will create a file name, usually your last
name â Assignment name. Ex. Shilling â Group project.
ï¶ Either select an added file or you click on the Browse button and select the
file you wish to turn in. This is like attaching a document to an email.
ï¶ Once the file has been chosen you can write any comments you think are
necessary and then click on the submit button that is in the lower right
hand corner.
7. File Submission
ï¶ After you have clicked the Add button you will get a message that says:
The file will be added but not sent. To send the file, click Send file. Send
File can be used to simultaneously add and send a file.
- Receipt: Success
- File Name. The file has been added to the Dropbox.
- Receipt date/time
ï¶ After you have clicked the Submit button it should say:
- Receipt: Success
- File Name. The file has been sent to the selected users with role of
Instructor
- Receipt date/time
