The web is watching you. Did you know that the internet is collecting information about you every time you visit websites?\n
This is my blog.\n
This is some of the information I can collect about the people who visit my blog\n
If I want more detail, I can find information like which browser people used, which operating system they use, and which page they landed on first.\n
Screenshots, cached links, other people downloading videos and reposting are all different examples of how information sticks around\n

Share with someone next to you. \nAsk for people to share with the wider group\nExplain the statistical likelihood of those things happening. Most worrying? Cyberbullying.\n

What will your digital footprint be?\nDigital footprints can be big or small, helpful or hurtful.\nAssume everything you do online can be seen by others (even if it can’t).\n

What you do, sticks around for ages. So make sure what sticks is how you’d like to be remembered\n
Stick to age appropriate sites. Facebook is for 13+.\nTalk with your parents about sites you think you should be allowed on if there is an age restriction\n
Don’t send annoying forwards e.g. OMG send this to 9 people or you’ll have bad luck for the next 17 years\nLook at the size of things you are emailing\nRemember anything you write can be forwarded/copied.\n
Don’t give away personal information e.g. address. \n\n

Answer: if your teacher has asked you to, and it relates to the work\n

You know that feeling you get if something isn’t quite right? Listen to it. \nTell an adult if something is making you feel uncomfortable.\n
Don’t tell anyone your password! Don’t use anyone else’s password.\nUse strong passwords\n
