Contract Law Assessment Reflection

This journal is designed for me to record all my self reflections which link to the
skills module in the contract assessment I have completed.
The summative assessment for this module is:
1) Essay on a theretical issue in contract law (2000 words) - Spring term
2) Closed book examination (2 hours) - Summer term

2. Contract summative coursework so far
I taken notes of all my research and have started
to put together vital information required for
the summative hand in on January 31st. So far I
am reviewing a range of sources to back up my
argument in the coursework. I am using the
skills I used in my skills legal research
component to do this as I understand the
importance of research printed material and
also online text.

3. I have completed my contract
summative assessment and waiting for
feedback.
• I used a variety of resources and overall I am
happy with my progress.

4. • I received a 2:ii mark on my summative
assessment and pleased with my progress.
This feedback highlighted that my progress
with referencing and a good understanding of
the topics discussed the assessment. However
I could improve on my referencing by
acknowledging the sources in the footnotes.

• I received good feedback on my practise
papers I have attempted and answered. I have
been highlighted to make more use of journal
articles to achieve better and first class marks.
I will use the skills I used in skills to find a
range of online and printed sources.
