This document provides instructions for students to create and share an annotated bibliography for an extended essay through Google Drive. It explains how to create a new document, name it, add annotations for 10-15 resources while summarizing, assessing and reflecting on each source. It also describes how to change the sharing settings to allow anyone with the link to view and comment before emailing it to teachers for feedback. The document was created by the secondary school librarian to help students with organizing and collaborating on their extended essay research.

Where you create, organize and share your
documents

3. Create:
Click Create and Select Document

4. Start Typing:
Works just like any Word Processor
(Microsoft Word, Pages etc.)
Use the Toolbar to

Name your Share your

5. Name Your Document:
Include Your Name, “Extended Essay” and
“Annotated Bibliography”

6. Share Your Document:
Change the Access Settings
Click here to Edit
the Sharing
Settings

7. Share Your Document:
Select “Anyone with the Link” and “Can Comment”, then
click Save

8. Finished (Almost!)
Email the Link to
Mr. Rancic, Ms. Katy
and your EE Supervisor
