1799_ Martha Ballard, midwife, delivers 51 babies in her small Maine town, although there are plenty of male doctors available.
1848_ 3 day convention of Seneca Falls Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions.
1850_ Maria Mitchell becomes a member of America Association for the Advancement of Science.
1868_ First woman to vote in a U.S. Presidential election is living a life disguised as a man, Charley Parkhurst.
1869_ National Women Suffrage Association is started by Susan B. Anthony & Elizabeth Stanton.
1872_ Women line up at the polls for the Presidential election_ Susan B. anthony is arrested by U.S. marshals.
1904_ International Women's Suffrage Alliance, formed by Carrie Chapman Catt, is launched in Berlin Congress.
1908_ At Fouad I University in Cairo a lecture series is started, by Huda Shaarawi and other women, to discuss women related issues.
1910_ Emily Pankhearst leads suffrage march in London.
