to give all students the opportunity to
develop their
knowledge, understandings, skills, values and
attitudes that lead to confidence and
competence in the different strands of
PDHPE.

3.  PDHPE is taught in schools to develop the

 Interacting
 Communicating

4.  PDHPE is taught in schools to develop the
following knowledge:
 Students learn ways to enhance personal and
community health and wellbeing.
 Also develop compositional performance and appraisal
of movement.
 PDHPE is taught in schools to develop the
following values and attitudes:
 Students develop an appreciation of and
understanding of the commitment to a healthy and
socially just way of living
