The movie is about a big boy who was good at sports, when Michael was a child.
Child protection separated him from his mother. After some time when he was a teenager,
he was taken to high school with his brother, where the football coach saw that he was
good for sports and the principal decided to admit him at school, although he wasn't good
at learning in his classes.
He was a black boy and for that he wasn't accepted by his classmates.
One day a little boy approached to Michael and then said "try to smile" and he went to the
car with his mom.
In a very cold night Micheal was walking on the street. He didn't have any where to go, at
the same time the Tuohy family was passing in their car, they saw him, then Leigh Anne
invited him to stay the night in their house. He accepted.
The family would welcome the presence of Michael for more time.
In high school, Mike did an aptitude test, the results showed a high protection instinct, he
showed when he protected S.J from a car accident and then he put in practice this instinct
in the football team. He started being good at it so a lot of universities saw and invited him
to ingress with their.
Michael had to make an important decision, his first choice was the Mississippi university
because his new family studied there. At the final he made his own decision and select the
Tennessee university.
