bored by her life. She wrote The Outsiders at the age
of 15,inspired by her frustrations with the social
divisions in high school.

Ch. 1
Ponyboy enters narrating the novel,
on his way home from the movies.

Ch. 2
Ponyboy goes to the movies with Dally
and Johnny, and unexpectedly meets
Cherry and Marcia .

On the walk to two bits house to give the girls
a ride home Ponyboy was having a good time
even though the girls were socs even though it
was a good time a blue mustang pulls up with
cherry’s and Marcia's boyfriends in it.

ended up in the hospital.

show up to see how he is doing and later randy
stops by to apologize for what happened.

Two bit and Ponyboy go to see Johnny and
Dallas in the hospital and when they do they run
across Cherry on the way home.

Ch. 9
The greasers go off to the rumble with the
socs and Dallas joins the fight. After the
greasers win dally and Ponyboy go to see
Johnny before he dies.

Ch. 10
After Johnny's death Ponyboy wonders
before he hitch hikes a ride home. After
getting home the gang decides to meet
up with Dallas who just robbed a store.

Ch. 11
Ponyboy is in bed rest for a week. Afterwards
randy comes by to talk about the hearing.
Ponyboy gets delirious and Darry asks Randy
to leave.

Ch. 12
After the hearing Ponyboy Steve and Two
bit have an encounter with socs but pony
boy is not intimidated. Later Ponyboy and
Darry have a fight and then Sodapop runs
out.
