Executive Summary
During the course of my career I have had the privilege of working on many major projects which has given me a broad knowledge base to
handle single or multi-disciplinary contracts.
My career path has involved the following:
Multi-disciplinary construction management and execution
• Vertical construction packages including civil and electrical disciplines
• Turnkey design and construct services
• Fabrication and installation of structural steel, tankage, mechanical works and process equipment and piping
• Local and overseas fabrication and procurement
• Modularisation and off-site pre-assembly
• Plant commissioning
My expertise has covered:
• Structural steel supply and erection
• Installation of heavy mechanical equipment such as crushers, screens, mills, ship loaders, stackers, reclaimers, compressors, process skids,
boilers and turbines (gas and steam), draglines, conveyor systems and other plant with facilites.
• Installation of above and below ground piping systems for petrochemical, mineral processing, water and associated facilities
• Installation of large bins and tanks for the mineral processing and petrochemical industries including thickeners, process tanks, elevated
storage bins, silos and miscellaneous storage and reagent tanks

The companies I have worked for have specialised in:
• Overall project management, design, procurement, fabrication, erection, installation and commissioning of all major plant and equipment
• Subcontract management of all associated construction services including earthworks, civils, refractories, coatings and insulation
• Wet/dry commissioning of plant equipment, systems testing as well as pre-commissioning services •The management and coordination of
multi-disciplinary design functions through alliance partners and/or subcontractors

experience combine to ensure target objectives are achieved in a healthy manner.

This experience has been gained from a low ground level up to the highest level through hard work. I have no fear of facing and overcoming all
challenges head on. In this regard I am constantly learning and applying any free time to further studies.

I also have extensive computer experience in a wide variety of software programs.

Having worked in a variety of different roles in the industry as given me a unique insight to the whole process of a Project from start to finish.
With this experience one is able to undertake any project efficiently and dynamically exceeding the client’s expectations.

On any new project I bring Quality Control and Safety to the fore. Quality Control together with Safety ensure a project that is to the highest
standards. These two issues I give all my attention to as they reduce risk management, if not completely eliminate it, and ensure proper controls
over all aspects of any Project.

Any lack of technical knowledge can be easily and quickly obtained but management and planning is something that is acquired over time and
through experience.

                                                                       the payments. It was also during this time that I began studing for
                                                                       my B. Comm which unfortunately I only managed to achieve two
                                                                       years and did not complete.

The changes I made to the exisiting systems improved efficiencies by over 50% and this was brought to senior management’s attention and I was then promoted to the accounts department to head the Creditors section. We handled invoices to a value of R4mil daily and employed a staff of eight of which 6 were just handling queries. I then set up a computerized system to handle the thousands of invoices received daily and bring better control over the payments. It was also during this time that I began studing for my B. Comm which unfortunately I only managed to achieve two years and did not complete.
