2. Using images & photography Flickr Online photo sharing Great site to post pictures Great resource to use in the classroom (My students use this site consistently to find pictures for presentations.) My work: http://www.flickr.com/photos/60607539@N03/
3. Using audio & webstreams Audacity Audio editor and recorder Fun tool to use for recording Loved playing with the editing (Added plus when your 12 year old knows all about the program!) Podbean Podcast Very easy to upload and publish a recording My work: http://kellibarlow.podbean.com/mf/web/6swpwh/KellisClassMP3.mp3
4. Creating video with generators Animoto Video slideshow Very user-friendly (for educators and students) Like using this site to create mini videos on my teacher webpage to display different units my class is working on My work: http://animoto.com/play/rzLFO12YiFGr4bXotlDf7Q
5. original videos iMovie Video editing application Lots of fun to use (for educators and students) We are fortunate to have MacBooks in my school district where I teach. 6. Most useful tool All of the tools in this class are useful. I am always looking for different ideas to incorporate in my teaching. I’ve learned a lot of new things, and I have seen some great ideas from my classmates.
7. Successes & challenges Success – I haven’t used online photo sharing in the past. Now that I’ve seen how easy it is to use, I am definitely going to use it! Challenges – The audio section was my biggest challenge. I’ve never used Audacity (or anything like that), so I felt very overwhelmed. I am looking forward to using Audacity more in the future.
8. Moodle & online learning I enjoyed using the Moodle for online learning. I thought the tutorials were very helpful. The layout of the course made it very easy to work independently and effectively. I will definitely be taking more online classes. This is a great way to work at your own pace. Thanks Rich!
