Behind the Scenes at CNN: America Votes ‘04

 Partner with CNN to give high school students a once-in-a-lifetime “behind the
  scenes” tour of television news in the 21st Century

 Students will participate in a four-week in-school broadband-based curriculum,
  featuring a special case study on the 2004 Presidential elections.

 The curriculum can culminate with the following promotional overlays:
     •   A competition to send students to CNN’s global headquarters in Atlanta to “shadow” CNN news gatherers for a day.
     •   A one hour learning event broadcast via satellite from CNN Center where students can ask a panel of CNN experts
         questions about TV news live, via email and telephone.


 The following tools are also available for use with the curriculum:
     •   Digital assets that can be used on your Web site.
     •   Taggable CNN spot.
     •   Customizable PSA spot.
     •   Co-branded materials such as premiums, kits for students, a teacher’s guide, artwork, and a PR tool kit.


 Number of spots: 350 tune-in and 150 PSA spots

     Participating affiliates receive everything need to help kids

      release, artwork, poster, orange donation box order form.

     First 50 systems that agree to run the minimum 150 PSAs
      during the month of October receive fun Cartoon Network
      premiums to help “cartoonize” their Halloween fundraising
      events
