They developed a musical structure. There are many different musical styles in Brazil, but the most well known and popular style of music is the samba. The Samba is not only a musical style, it is also the most well known Brazilian dance style. The Samba is an expression of culture, it is part of the Brazilian identity.
3. Sports Brazil is known for its nationally ranked football team. The Brazilian football (soccer) team has beaten the record and won the World Cup tournament five times. When compared to the rest of the world, they are considered to be one of the best. Football is not the only sport that Brazilians seem to succeed in. The men’s volleyball team currently holds four national titles. Brazil has their own versions of sports developing, such as Capoeira, Vale tudo, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. These are all forms of martial arts that were derived in Brazil.
4. Literature Brazilian literature has always been written in the Portuguese language. Now that Brazil is independent from Portugal, the literature is more Brazilian rather than plain Portuguese, even though it is still written in Portuguese. The very first documented Brazilian literature was called Carla de PeroVaz de Caminha to Manuel I of Portugal. This literature contained descriptions of Brazil’s appearance in the 1500s, journals, and treaties. Brazilian literature is usually about life in Brazil. This contains the media, politics, and war.
