   Who would be the
audience for your media
       product?

Audience
Audience plays an important part in media
production for a number of reasons:
● Different types of genres will appeal to
  people of different audiences
● Producers will know what type of
  conventions they need to follow for that set
  audience
● Determines who is most likely to buy the
  film
Target audience
The target audience for our thriller 'Meat Eater' are 15 - 24
yr olds. We came to this conclusion after researching
audiences on pearlanddean.com and discovering that the
majority of audiences from thriller films similar to ours
(such as 28 days later, Taken) were aged 15 - 24.
15 - 24 target audience
Below is a video of the primary research we carried
out on the 15 - 24 yr old audience. These are our
fellow college students who typically fall into this
category:
