BUSINESS PROBLEM Document chaos No centralised control of repetitive document generation ‘Copy and paste’ paradigm, propagation of errors Risk No centralised control of content or brand Exposure to document non-compliance
BUSINESS PROBLEM (2) Infrastructure Inability to leverage corporate data silos Software upgrades break macro-driven templates Marketing Inability to align content to customer needs Cost High cost of document generation High cost of supporting template development
TRADITIONAL INFORMATION FLOW Traditional focus = document management Intelledox expanded focus on document lifecycle, optimising document creation to add value to document management
GAME CHANGER INPUTS OUTPUTS Intelledox Server Inward-facing Web forms Outward-facing Web forms Targeted Output (Marketing) Line of business systems Documents (PDF) DYNAMIC BUSINESS RULES Records Management (Meta data) Data sources Electronic (eMail) .XML (Data)
GAME CHANGER INPUTS Intelledox is a game changer. In essence Intelledox transforms unstructured inputs into structured outputs Intelledox has the ability to draw data inputs from a variety of sources: ,[object Object]
 Enterprise specific databases/Legacy applications
Internal (enterprise) intelligent web forms for data collection
External (public) intelligent web forms for data collectionInward-facing Web forms Outward-facing Web forms Line of business systems Data sources

INTELLEDOX COMPONENTS Intelledox has been specifically designed to manage layout, content & business rules as separate modules. This provides the maximum level of flexibility and allows layout, content or business rules to be adjusted without impact on other elements used in the dynamic generation of documents. Intelledox essentially has three components. Layout Formatting Styles Intelledox Layout: Intelledox utilises source layout for document generation from Microsoft Word. All layout, fonts, and overall look and feel of the targeted document are managed using Microsoft Word. Only basic Word skills are required, and a working knowledge of the “bookmarks” functionality is required to fully manage document design.
INTELLEDOX COMPONENTS Content Text Objects Images Content Text Objects Images Intelledox Intelledox Content: Document content is managed by the Intelledox Document Library. All document fragments – text, logos, images, multimedia fragments – used during document generation are stored in the Document Library. This library can reside within Intelledox, or in a separate defined database in another location. Document fragments can be managed and edited as required by users based on permissions defined by Intelledox. Once updated, all templates that use the particular document element will utilise the newly adjusted content.
INTELLEDOX COMPONENTS Rules Intelledox Rules Engine Business rules can be created or amended via an easy to use interface. Business users can manage business rules, and no programming (code) is involved in the creation or amendment of business rules. The Intelledox “Designer” module allows easy ‘drag and drop’ creation of business rules.
INTELLEDOX COMPONENTS Intelledox can gather data from 3rd Party applications. Or from smart web forms, and other line of business applications (CRM/ERP/HIS). Intelledox dynamically utilises this data based on business rules for document generation to a range of output formats.
