HCL Traveler 11.0.1 FP2
Support of Room Reservations with EAS 16.x
Apple Calendar
Traveler 11.0.2 supports updating Room
reservations for meetings modified from the Apple
calendar. The Apple device must be using the
Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync 16.0 or later
protocol (EAS 16.x). Rescheduling or cancelling a
meeting from the device will now reschedule or
cancel a related room reservation in the Domino
Rooms and Resources Database.

DOMI – Domino Online Meeting Integration
Domino Online Meeting Integration is an extension to the Domino Mail
template allowing you to create, update and delete ad hoc online meetings from
HCL Notes client calendar entries. The following meeting providers are
supported out-of-the-box:
• Zoom – Oauth app not yet approved, soon
• Microsoft Teams
• Webex
• GoToMeeting – Requires a Paid Account
• HCL Sametime

Rooms and Resources Needs
The form could use an update of new fields for when making a reservation:
• Transportation required/options (Bus, Taxi, Uber, Van, Handicapped)
• Food Services (How many people, hot/cold, dietary options, quantities,
offsite/onsite)
• OnTime has extended their awesome calendaring product with
a Catering option! (https://ontimesuite.com/en/domino/addons/catering)
• Map location or Waze lookups when required (Organizer had it!)
• Extra Location Options, instead of an empty field (Building name/#, floor)

Change the Purge Agent Days
Example: A car is not returned on Friday, but someone else had it
scheduled for Monday.
If the database is purged of items more than two days old, we don't know
who last had the car.
To change the purge time:
• Go to View --> Agents and double-click on the "Purge Documents (Auto)"
agent once you are in the Designer client.
• When it opens, go to Initialize under the objects tab, and change "Call
purgedate.AdjustDay (-2)" to "Call purgedate.AdjustDay (-30)".
Make sure the agent is enabled. Or just disable this agent entirely.

Practical RnR View Additions
• Conflicts view added (Technote)
• DST added for specific country/asset issues
• Export Reservations because AAs need help
• Tradeshows, you are not limited to your offices,
but be careful of Time Zones!
• Multiple views of Information (BY…)
• Resources by Location is very helpful
• Strongly suggest you edit the columns in the views to allow sorting 21

Sorting Your Views
• You will need a Designer Client
• From Notes, Open the RnR database
• Click on View - Design
• Under Views, Open a View (ex. Reservations By Resource)to be Edited
• Right Click on the Column to be fixed
• Select Column Properties and click on this tab
• Choose a Sort, a Type and check the Blue Circle!
• Click on X to leave the mini Window
• Close the view or Press CTRL-S 23

Create a View to Show Save Conflicts

Save and close to close the view
Open
the View Properties and UNCHECK the “Show response
documents in hierarchy” if it has a check mark
Click on Save and Customize
Change the formula to: Select @IsAvailable($Conflict)
Give the View a Name (like Conflicts)
Click the Create menu and select View
Open the RnR database in the Admin client

Creating a Delete Document Agent
1. With the RnR database open in Designer
2. Expand Code section and double click on Agents
3. Click on the New Agent button
4. Give the agent a name and change the type from
LotusScript to Formula
5. In the programmer window, type:
@DeleteDocument
6. Click on the green check mark
7. Save and close the agent
8. Find the bad document and select the agent from
the Actions menu

Cluster Double Bookings Help
At the server console for each server in the cluster type:
TELL RNRMGR WHOOWNS xxxxx.nsf
to verify that only one of them is processing requests.

Recreating the Busytime.nsf
In Domino Administrator, open the live console and issue the following
commands:
• tell sched q
• tell calconn q
• tell RnRMgr q (Domino 7 and later)
• dbcache flush
Several “dbcache flush” commands may be required depending on the
operating system and server load.

Recreating the Busytime.nsf - Part 2
In the Domino server’s Data directory, locate busytime.nsf and delete it.
Issue the following commands (not case sensitive):
• load sched
• load calconn
• load RnRMgr (Domino 7 and later)

Recreate Clubusy.nsf
In Domino Administrator, open the live console.
Shut down the Sched and Calconn tasks on all clusters and flush the database
cache with the following commands:
• tell sched q
• tell calconn q
• tell RnRMgr q (Domino 7 and later)
• dbcache flush
Several “dbcache flush” commands may be required depending on the
operating system and server load.

Recreate Clubusy.nsf - Part 2
On the Domino server’s Data directory, find clubusy.nsf and delete it.
• The previous steps must be done on ALL clustermates before the next
step is performed on any server.
• Otherwise, old data may be added back into the clubusy database and
invalidate what you are trying to do.
Issue the following commands on all clustermates (not case sensitive):
• load sched
• load CalConn
• load RnRMgr (Domino 7 and later)
