3. Main Objective
Students will create, label and explain
simple circuits that produce heat and
light by using online games and videos,
designing simple circuits and making
foldables by the end of the week at
100%.
4. Day by Day
Monday- Make a foldable to build vocabulary
and create a simple circuit out of low-voltage
batteries, popsicle sticks, aluminum foil and
wire. Students will create their simple circuits
in groups of four.
Tuesday- Read When Charlie McButton Lost
Power and play an online game about circuits
as a whole group.
Wednesday- Watch a Brainpop video and play
interactive games as a whole group.
5. Day by Day (cont’d)
Thursday- Create a simple circuit using
low-voltage batteries, wire and small light
bulbs. Make a foldable after and label the
circuit parts.
Friday- Play an online game about circuits
and take a paper/pencil quiz.
