2. Magnetic Lasso Tool
• I used the magnetic lasso tool to cut out
the background of my feature article
photograph. I dragged it around the
edge of my photograph to allow me to
achieve an accurate finish.
• This was successful in cutting out my
photograph as it automatically finds the
edge of the picture, meaning that I could
get a precise finish
3. Blemish Tool
I used the blemish tool on my
feature article photograph to
create a flawless, airbrushed
finish on my cover stars skin.
Eraser Tool
I used the eraser tool to clean
up any edges that were not
picked up by the magic eraser
tool.
Blur Tool
I used the blur tool around the
edges of the feature article
photograph to create a
seamless finish.
4. Text Tool
I used the text tool to create my
masthead, plugs, puff and cover
lines.
Fill Tool
I used the fill tool to create the
background of my magazine as it
allowed me to create a block colour.
